Location information:

Located in the province of Roses on Spain's Costa Brava, the Golf de Roses is an excellent short-haul Kitesurfing & Windsurfing destination, just a 2 hour flight from the UK and a 1 – 1 ½ hr transfer by car or taxi from Barcelona or Girona airports.

The Golf of Roses is a destination well suited for families with children of all ages as well as those travelling with non-windsurfing / kitesurfing partners or friends.

There is loads to do here as well as it being a good water sports location - mountain biking, sailing, horse riding & walking to name but a few.

• An old restored windmill, close to the sea, that has been recently converted into a charming inn
• This quiet place, surrounded by apple orchards and big trees is very peaceful – an ideal place to while away time and relax during your stay. This accommodation is just 3.5 km from Club Mistral / Skyriders Windsurfing / Kitesurfing centres (direction Sant Pere Pescador)

Amenities & Facilities:

• This beautifully refurbished house has 5 apartments.
• All the apartments have an open fire, private bathroom and fully equipped kitchen and are tastefully decorated in a modern, colourful, country style. The 2 storey building has got two apartments on the ground floor and 3 apartments on the first floor.
• The house is surrounded by a huge garden (4 hectare) with a teak-wood sundeck surrounding a swimming pool, sun chairs and umbrellas.
• On the ground floor of the building there is very nice restaurant which serves lunch and dinner. There are also bikes available free of charge.
• Sheets and towels will be changed after one week.
• Maid service and baby-sitting is available any time for an additional supplement

Getting to Golf de Roses:

Fly to Girona with Ryanair
Any number of other airlines fly to Barcelona

By car:
Take motorway (Autopista) A 7 (French border - Barcelona) to go to Club Mistral / Skyriders.

• If you are coming from the direction of France or from the Girona or Barcelona airports, please take Exit 5, "L'Escala / Empuries".
• After leaving the motorway, drive straight on in the direction of L'Escala for about 20km
• Shortly before L'Escala, you will reach a roundabout. There is a Tourist Office on the right. Here, take the 2nd road (N.B: you will no longer be travelling in the direction of L'Escala), where signs will direct you to "St Marti de Empuries" and "Platjas de St Pere Pescador". Now drive straight on
• You will pass the small medieval town of St Marti de Empuries, located on your right. Drive straight on at this roundabout
• Then you cross a small bridge, from where you can already see the large yellow sign of La Ballena Alegre camping park
• It is the 1st camp site on the right
• The Club Mistral / Skyriders windsurfing / kitesurfing centres are at the bottom right-hand corner of the camping site
