Location information:

Coche Island is the neighbouring island to Isla Margarita.

Isla Coche is an offshore island of Venezuela, located 38 km North-East of Venezuela and 90 miles West of Trinidad & Tobago, far from the path of Atlantic tropical storms.

Coche, Margarita & Cubagua islands make up the territory of “Nueva Esparta”.

Coche is a perfect Kitesurfing destination, with a magnificent white sandy beach and clear blue water. Coche hosts an annual Kitesurfing World Tour event and is a firm favourite with all the PRO kitesurfers. Locally referred to as the "Laboratory" because of the perfection of the kitesurfing conditions its the ideal kite spot to experiment, try out new tricks and push your kitesurfing limits.

The 8 km route between El Yaque beach in Margarita and Coche is also very popular downwinder with Kitesurfers and Windsurfers.
